Elizabeth Mims, Filmmaker & Programmer   Elizabeth grew up in Austin, Texas and graduated with a BFA from CalArts. Her 2012 film Only The Young was theatrically released by Oscilloscope and won numerous awards including the Silverdoc’s Sterling Silver Award for best US documentary, American Film Institute Audience Award, and was nominated for a Spirit Award. Elizabeth was named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Indie Film and worked as the Senior Film Programmer for Austin Film Festival for 5 years. She is currently working on a new narrative feature.

Iliana Sosa, Filmmaker & Producer   Iliana is a documentary filmmaker and impact producer from El Paso, TX. A former Bill Gates Millennium Scholar, she holds a MFA in film production and directing from UCLA. She was a 2013 Film Independent Project Involve Directing Fellow and was selected for the 2013 TransAtlantic Talent Lab in Reykjavik, Iceland. She recently co-directed an award winning short,  An Uncertain Future , with Chelsea Hernandez. The film won Best Texas Short at the 2018 SXSW Film Festival and a Youth Jury Award at the 2018 AspenShorts Fest. She was also selected to be part of 2018 Berlinale Talents and is a 2018 Sundance Development Fellow with her first feature documentary,  Julian.

Her own work spans short films and music videos to experimental visuals for bands such as Lomelda, Daphne Tunes, Capyac and House of Kenzo.

Penelope Nederlander. Animator & Art Director   Penelope is a two time Emmy-nominated art director, motion graphics animator, and digital artist. After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design with honors in Computer Animation she spent the next ten years in Los Angeles working on high profile visual effects and animation projects for several dozen studios. Penelope’s credits include the title sequences for Pitch Perfect, Temple Grandin and both Kung Fu Panda films, VFX on Aviator, Iron Man, and Superman, VFX supervising music videos for Dolly Parton, Sean Lennon, and the Killers, and Compositing and CFX Lead on Rooster Teeth’s RWBY. Now living in Austin, Penelope has spent the last six years dedicated to bringing her craft to Texas."
